TCC1727 is a selective ATR kinase inhibitor developed as an oral small molecule therapy for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It works by exploiting synthetic lethality and demonstrates significant anti-tumor activity, particularly in cancers with DNA damage response (DDR) deficiencies. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials as monotherapy for various advanced solid tumors, including non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, and triple-negative breast cancer.
