Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TCR-GPC3 is a T cell receptor (TCR) engineered T cell therapy under preclinical development by TCR2 Therapeutics. It is designed to target Glypican-3 (GPC3), a tumor-associated antigen highly expressed in various solid tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma, hepatoblastoma, ovarian clear cell carcinoma, and squamous cell lung carcinoma, with minimal or no expression in normal adult tissues. This therapy aims to recognize and kill cancer cells presenting GPC3-derived peptides, offering a potential advantage over CAR-T cells by being able to target intracellular GPC3.
