Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TCR-T-001 is an autologous, T-cell receptor-engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy designed to target glioblastoma. It specifically targets protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type zeta 1 (PTPRZ1), a glioblastoma-associated antigen strongly overexpressed in malignant gliomas and associated with cancer stemness. The TCR-T-001 cells are engineered using non-integrating nano scaffold matrix attachment region (S/MAR) TCR DNA vectors to express a human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-A*02:01-restricted TCR. The therapy is administered via a combination of intravenous (IV) and intracerebroventricular (ICV) infusions. It is being evaluated in the Phase 1 INVENT4GB clinical trial for patients with recurrent glioblastoma.
