Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TCR-T-CMV is an investigational gene-modified T cell receptor (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Immunotech Biopharm (Yongtai Biology) for the treatment of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection in patients following hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The therapy consists of autologous T cells that are genetically engineered to express specific TCRs designed to recognize and eliminate CMV-infected cells. By targeting CMV antigens presented on the surface of infected cells, TCR-T-CMV aims to restore cellular immunity against the virus in immunocompromised post-transplant patients, thereby preventing or treating potentially life-threatening CMV complications. The product is currently in Phase 1 clinical development in China.
