Overview

TCR-T-EBV is a gene-modified T cell receptor (TCR-T) therapy developed by Immunotech Biopharm (Yongtai Biology) for the treatment of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection in patients who have undergone hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The therapy involves genetically engineering a patient's T cells to express specific T cell receptors that recognize and target EBV antigens presented on the surface of infected cells. By enhancing the immune system's ability to identify and eliminate EBV-infected cells, TCR-T-EBV aims to prevent or treat post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorders (PTLD) and other EBV-related complications in the immunocompromised post-HSCT setting. It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development.
