Overview

**TCR-T NY-ESO-1** is an autologous **T cell receptor engineered T cell therapy** in which a patient's T lymphocytes are genetically modified ex vivo to express a T-cell receptor that recognizes the cancer-testis antigen NY-ESO-1, typically presented in the context of specific HLA molecules such as HLA-A*02:01. After lymphodepleting chemotherapy, the engineered cells are reinfused to mediate antigen-specific killing of NY-ESO-1-positive tumor cells. This is an investigational personalized cell therapy platform rather than a single standardized commercial product, and it has been studied primarily in NY-ESO-1-positive solid tumors including synovial sarcoma, myxoid round cell liposarcoma, melanoma, and other advanced solid tumors by multiple academic groups and companies.
