Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TCR-T targeting NY-ESO-1 is a preclinical-stage T cell receptor-engineered T cell (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Beijing Yongtai Ruike Biotechnology (a subsidiary of Beijing Yongtai). The therapy utilizes autologous T cells genetically modified to express T-cell receptors (TCRs) that specifically recognize NY-ESO-1 (New York Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma 1), a cancer-testis antigen (CTA) frequently expressed in various malignancies but absent in normal adult somatic tissues. By re-infusing these engineered cells into the patient, the therapy aims to induce targeted destruction of NY-ESO-1-expressing tumor cells. The program is currently being evaluated for the treatment of solid tumors, including clear cell renal carcinoma.
