Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TCR-T014 is a T-cell receptor engineered T-cell (TCR-T) therapy being developed by Protheragen for the treatment of HPV-16 positive cervical cancer. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a specific T-cell receptor that recognizes antigens derived from the Human Papillomavirus type 16 (HPV-16), which is a primary driver of cervical malignancy. By targeting HPV-16 specific epitopes presented on the surface of cancer cells, TCR-T014 aims to selectively eliminate tumor cells while sparing healthy tissue. It is currently in the discovery phase of development.
