Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**TDENV-LAV** is an investigational tetravalent live-attenuated dengue vaccine, also designated formulation 17, designed to induce protective immunity against dengue virus serotypes 1, 2, 3, and 4. Developed from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research live-attenuated dengue vaccine program with GSK involvement, it was evaluated subcutaneously in healthy adults as part of heterologous prime-boost regimens with tetravalent dengue purified inactivated vaccine. In the completed Phase 1 study NCT02239614, regimens in which the inactivated vaccine primed and TDENV-LAV boosted generated high neutralizing-antibody responses and tetravalent seroconversion.
