TDM-103223 (also identified as TDM-Psor01) is an investigational small molecule inverse agonist of the retinoic acid receptor-related orphan receptor-gamma-t (RORγt), developed by TechnoDerma Medicines for the topical treatment of psoriasis. RORγt is a master transcription factor essential for the differentiation of Th17 cells and the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including IL-17A and IL-17F, which are pivotal in the development of psoriatic lesions. By selectively targeting RORγt in the skin, TDM-103223 aims to suppress the IL-17 signaling axis locally, providing therapeutic efficacy while minimizing the systemic side effects often associated with oral or injectable RORγt inhibitors. The candidate is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in patients with plaque psoriasis.
