Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TE-1182 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by T-E Meds, designed to target Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2). The therapeutic candidate is being investigated for the treatment of HER2-related malignancies, including breast and gastric cancers. TE-1182 utilizes T-E Meds' proprietary site-specific conjugation technology, which aims to produce a stable and homogeneous drug-to-antibody ratio (DAR). This platform is intended to enhance the therapeutic index by ensuring targeted delivery of the cytotoxic payload to HER2-overexpressing tumor cells while minimizing off-target effects and systemic toxicity. By binding to the HER2 receptor, the ADC is internalized, leading to the intracellular release of the payload and subsequent induction of cancer cell death.
