Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tears Again liposomal spray is a CE-marked medical device developed by Optima Pharmaceutical GmbH and distributed by OCuSOFT for the treatment of mild to moderate dry eye disease and Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD). It is a preservative-free phospholipid liposomal formulation containing soy lecithin, Vitamin A palmitate, and Vitamin E. When sprayed onto closed eyelids, the liposomes collect on the lid margins and migrate to the tear film upon blinking. This action stabilizes the tear film lipid layer (TFLL), reducing tear evaporation and improving ocular surface symptoms.
