Overview
TearsAgain is a family of over-the-counter (OTC) eye care products, including eye sprays and drops, marketed by the Swedish company Circius Pharma. It is primarily indicated for the relief of dry eye symptoms and blepharitis. The eye spray formulation is particularly notable for its use of liposomes (phospholipids) that integrate into and stabilize the lipid layer of the tear film. This action helps to reinforce the eye's natural protective barrier, significantly reducing the evaporation of the aqueous layer of the tears, which is a leading cause of evaporative dry eye. The product is designed for easy application to closed eyelids, from where the liposomes migrate to the tear film to provide long-lasting moisturization and relief.
