Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TEC regimen plus TCM therapy is a combination treatment approach that integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with the conventional TEC chemotherapy regimen for cancer treatment. The TEC regimen consists of docetaxel (75 mg/m² intravenously on day one), epirubicin (80 mg/m² intravenously on day two), and cyclophosphamide (500 mg/m² intravenously on day two). This chemotherapy cycle typically lasts 21 days with six cycles conducted in total. The TCM component aims to restore balance and harmony in the body's energy (qi), reduce side effects from chemotherapy, strengthen the immune system, and improve overall quality of life during cancer treatment. TCM therapies may include herbal medicine, acupuncture, mind-body practices like tai chi and qigong, and dietary therapy.
