Overview

NDX-3315 is an investigational, non-invasive oral radiopharmaceutical imaging agent designed to assist in the detection, diagnosis, monitoring, and treatment management of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). It consists of technetium-99m-labeled heparin and is intended to improve upon current diagnostic standards by providing a reliable method for identifying and localizing inflammation in the esophagus. The agent enhances single-photon emission-computed tomography (SPECT) imaging. Developed by NexEos Diagnostics (also referred to as NexEos Bio), it has received orphan drug designation for EoE and is currently being evaluated in phase 2 clinical trials for this indication[1][2][3][4][5].
