Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tecnu Rash Relief Spray is an over-the-counter (OTC) topical medication developed by Tec Laboratories and marketed by Quest Products for the symptomatic relief of skin irritations such as poison ivy, oak, and sumac rashes, insect bites, and minor burns. The product is available in two distinct formulations: a conventional medicated version featuring 2% diphenhydramine hydrochloride, which functions as a topical antihistamine and analgesic, and a homeopathic version containing *Grindelia robusta* and *Calendula officinalis*. The spray is designed for "no-touch" application to the affected area, which helps to soothe itching, reduce pain, and minimize the risk of secondary infection or scarring from scratching. In addition to its active components, the spray contains inactive ingredients such as menthol and tea tree oil that provide a cooling sensation and support skin healing.
