Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tecotabart (LM-102) is a recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody that targets the tumor-associated antigen claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2), an isoform of claudin-18 highly expressed in certain solid tumors, particularly gastrointestinal cancers. By binding to CLDN18.2 on tumor cells, LM-102 is designed to stimulate immune-mediated antitumor activity through mechanisms such as antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC). The drug was developed by LaNova Medicines and entered early-phase clinical trials for patients with advanced solid tumors expressing CLDN18.2, but its development has since been terminated[1][2][5][8].
