Overview

Tedalinab (GRC-10693) is a potent and highly selective small molecule agonist of the cannabinoid CB2 receptor, developed by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. It demonstrates approximately 4700-fold selectivity for CB2 over the CB1 receptor, a profile intended to provide analgesic and anti-inflammatory benefits while avoiding the psychotropic side effects associated with CB1 activation. The drug was investigated for the treatment of chronic pain conditions, including neuropathic pain and osteoarthritis. Although it successfully completed Phase I clinical trials in Europe in 2009, which evaluated its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics, no further clinical development has been publicly disclosed.
