Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tedopi + docetaxel is an investigational combination therapy consisting of Tedopi (OSE-2101), an off-the-shelf neoepitope-based therapeutic cancer vaccine, and docetaxel, a microtubule-stabilizing taxane chemotherapy. Tedopi is designed to stimulate a cytotoxic T-lymphocyte (CTL) response against five tumor-associated antigens (TAAs) frequently overexpressed in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC): CEA, HER2, MAGE-2, MAGE-3, and p53. Docetaxel acts by binding to and stabilizing tubulin, preventing microtubule depolymerization and leading to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. The combination is being evaluated as a second-line treatment for HLA-A2-positive patients with metastatic NSCLC who have progressed after first-line chemo-immunotherapy. In the Phase 2 Combi-TED trial, the combination demonstrated promising efficacy, meeting its primary endpoint of 1-year overall survival.
