Tegilide fumarate (HSK18286) is a novel, potent, and selective small molecule mu-opioid receptor (MOR) agonist developed by Haisco Pharmaceutical Group for the management of moderate-to-severe postoperative pain. As a next-generation opioid analgesic, tegilide is designed to provide robust pain relief while potentially minimizing common opioid-related adverse events, such as respiratory depression, nausea, and vomiting, which are often associated with traditional opioids like morphine or fentanyl. The drug is primarily administered intravenously, frequently via patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) systems in the clinical setting.
