Overview

Telatinib is an orally available small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets multiple receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumor angiogenesis and growth, including vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR2), VEGFR3, platelet-derived growth factor receptor beta (PDGFRβ), and c-Kit. By inhibiting these kinases, telatinib blocks signaling pathways essential for angiogenesis and tumor proliferation. It has demonstrated anti-tumor activity in various cancer models and is primarily under investigation for the treatment of gastric cancer, liver cancer, and oesophageal cancer. Telatinib was originally developed by Bayer and has received orphan drug status from the FDA for gastric cancer[1][4][5][7].
