**telbivudine + valtorcitabine** is a theoretical or misnamed combination of two nucleoside analogues. **Telbivudine** is a synthetic thymidine nucleoside analogue used as an antihepadnaviral agent for treating chronic hepatitis B, functioning as a reverse transcriptase inhibitor by blocking viral DNA polymerase, thus inhibiting viral replication[7]. **Valtorcitabine** (also known as L-FMAU or clevudine) is another nucleoside analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitor, investigated for treatment of hepatitis B virus but not widely approved or formally marketed due to safety concerns. No evidence supports the existence of a marketed or clinically studied combination of these two drugs under this or any other name.
