Drug intelligence / Profile preview
YHP1604 is a fixed-dose combination (FDC) therapy developed by Yuhan Corporation for the management of patients with both hypertension and hyperlipidemia. It integrates three active pharmacological agents: telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB); amlodipine, a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker (CCB); and rosuvastatin, an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor (statin). By combining these three medications into a single tablet, YHP1604 aims to simplify complex treatment regimens, thereby improving patient adherence and clinical outcomes in the management of cardiovascular risk factors. The product was approved in South Korea under the brand name Duowell-A.
