Overview

Telovance is a recombinant protein developed by Telos Biotech (a subsidiary of Cambrian Bio) that serves as an ancillary reagent for cell therapy manufacturing. It is designed to be delivered intracellularly during the ex vivo expansion of CAR-T cells, NK cells, and other immune cells to safely lengthen telomeres. Telomeres are DNA-protein structures at the ends of chromosomes that naturally shorten during cell division; by extending them, Telovance aims to overcome cell exhaustion and improve the durability and efficacy of cell therapies, particularly in the treatment of cancer. The technology was developed in collaboration with UT Southwestern Medical Center and is currently in preclinical development.
