Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tenagril is a natural, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) supplement developed by 3Sixty Biomedicine for the prevention and relief of migraine symptoms. The primary active ingredient in Tenagril is a standardized extract of *Tanacetum parthenium* (Feverfew), which contains parthenolide as its key bioactive compound. Feverfew is traditionally used for its anti-inflammatory and vasodilatory properties. Tenagril is believed to work by inhibiting the release of serotonin and reducing the synthesis of inflammatory prostaglandins, thereby addressing the neurovascular dysregulation and blood vessel dilation associated with migraine pathology. It is marketed as a daily prophylactic capsule to reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks, as well as associated symptoms like nausea and vomiting.
