TENDU is a therapeutic peptide cancer vaccine developed using the tetanus-epitope targeting (TET) platform. It is designed to stimulate and enhance T cell responses against tumor-associated antigens by combining cancer-specific peptides with a vaccine adjuvant in a single conjugated molecule. The platform leverages pre-existing immunity from standard tetanus vaccinations to boost anti-tumor immune responses. TENDU is being investigated as an immunostimulant for patients with prostate cancer who have relapsed after radical prostatectomy. The first-in-human Phase I clinical trial evaluates its safety, tolerability, and ability to activate immune responses prior to standard-of-care treatments such as radiation and antihormone therapy.
