Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TenoBoost (also known as PRS TenoBoost) is an allogeneic biological product under development by Peaches Biotech for tendon regeneration and the treatment of tendinosis. Developed under the company's patented PRS® (Selective Rich Plasma) technology, TenoBoost is a tissue-specific secretome (cytokine and growth factor concentrate) obtained by co-culturing M2-type macrophages with primary tenocytes. This co-culture process induces cellular immunomodulation and stimulates the release of selective growth factors tailored specifically for tendon tissue regeneration. TenoBoost is designed to accelerate physiological recovery from tendon injuries, optimize tissue regeneration, and prevent fibrosis, offering a targeted alternative to traditional platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapies.
