This is a combination regimen consisting of three antiretroviral agents used for the prevention and/or treatment of HIV-1 infection. Cabotegravir long-acting is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI) formulated for extended-release injectable administration, which blocks the integration of viral DNA into the host genome[6].
