Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tenoros is a dietary supplement and food for special medical purposes (FSMP) developed by Pharmaselect International for the dietary management of weakened immune defenses during nasal infections, such as the common cold and runny nose. The product is formulated as lemon-flavored lozenges containing a patented, highly concentrated buckwheat (*Fagopyrum esculentum*) bioflavonoid extract known as PSI 265, combined with zinc gluconate. The bioflavonoids are designed to seal blood vessels and reduce nasal discharge and swelling without irritating the mucous membranes, while also promoting the action of interferon to support the body's natural defenses. Zinc gluconate provides additional support for normal immune system function.
