Overview

Tensinumab (ATN-E11) is a humanized single-chain variable fragment (scFv) monoclonal antibody developed by aTen Therapeutics. It selectively targets and antagonizes the angiotensin II type 1 receptor (AT1R), which is frequently overexpressed in various malignancies, including breast cancer. By blocking AT1R-mediated signaling, Tensinumab aims to inhibit tumor growth, invasion, and migration, and has demonstrated potential in protecting against metastases in experimental models. The drug is currently being advanced toward clinical trials for the treatment of primary breast cancer and the prevention of metastatic spread.
