Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Tepotinib + osimertinib is a combination therapy used to treat EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with MET amplification as a mechanism of acquired resistance to first-line osimertinib treatment. This oral targeted therapy combines tepotinib, a highly selective MET tyrosine kinase inhibitor, with osimertinib, an EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor. MET amplification occurs in up to 30% of patients with NSCLC who progress on first-line osimertinib. The combination aims to overcome MET amplification-driven resistance by simultaneously targeting both pathways.
