Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Vocuff-BR is a combination cough syrup marketed by Skyways Healthcare, primarily used for the treatment of productive cough associated with conditions such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and emphysema. It contains four active ingredients: terbutaline, a bronchodilator that relaxes airway muscles; bromhexine, a mucolytic agent that breaks down thick mucus; guaifenesin, an expectorant that promotes the clearance of mucus; and menthol, which provides a soothing effect on the throat. This formulation is designed to facilitate easier breathing and effective expectoration in patients with respiratory congestion. It is distributed in India through a PCD (Propaganda Cum Distribution) franchise model.
