Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Terepril + apatinib is a combination drug consisting of terepril and apatinib. Apatinib is a small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitor that selectively inhibits vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 (VEGFR-2), thereby blocking angiogenesis, which is critical for tumor growth and metastasis. It has been studied in various cancers, often in combination with other agents such as immune checkpoint inhibitors or chemotherapeutics, to enhance antitumor efficacy by targeting both tumor vasculature and the immune microenvironment[3][6]. Terepril does not appear in major clinical trial registries or scientific literature as of June 2025; therefore, its mechanism of action, developer, and role within this combination are unknown.
