Terpene-enriched CBD-dominant oil is a specialized cannabis-based therapeutic formulation developed by Bazelet Nehushtan for the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The product consists of a high-CBD cannabis oil enriched with a specific profile of terpenes, designed to optimize the entourage effect and improve therapeutic outcomes compared to purified CBD. It is intended to modulate the endocannabinoid system and other neurotransmitter pathways to alleviate symptoms such as anxiety, aggression, and social communication deficits. The formulation has completed a pilot crossover study and is currently in Phase 2 clinical development (NCT07199218).
