Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Terpene-enriched CBD oil is a specialized pharmaceutical-grade cannabis formulation developed by Bazelet Nehushtan. It consists of a cannabidiol (CBD)-dominant cannabis oil extract that has been specifically enriched with a proprietary blend of terpenes. This formulation is designed to leverage the entourage effect, where terpenes modulate the pharmacological activity of cannabinoids to enhance therapeutic outcomes and improve the safety profile. The drug is primarily being investigated for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), where it aims to reduce symptoms of inattention and hyperactivity. It is currently undergoing Phase 2 clinical testing (NCT06542445) and has also been explored in case studies for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
