Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Terpene-enriched CBD oil (various terpene blends) is a standardized, non-generic botanical cannabinoid formulation developed by Bazelet Group. It comprises cannabidiol (CBD) and low-dose tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or is THC-free, enriched with a carefully selected blend of calming and anxiolytic terpenes (such as alpha-pinene, limonene, linalool, beta-caryophyllene, and nerolidol) in optimized ratios. This formulation is designed to leverage synergistic cannabinoid-terpene interactions (the entourage effect) to enhance therapeutic efficacy and reduce the required cannabinoid doses, thereby minimizing potential side effects. It is primarily being developed for the treatment of behavioral and core symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
