Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TERT-201 is an mRNA therapeutic developed by Rejuvenation Technologies. It aims to reverse aging by extending telomeres through the delivery of telomerase mRNA. The drug utilizes proprietary lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) to specifically deliver the telomerase mRNA to target tissues, such as the lung and liver. It is currently in preclinical development for fibrotic diseases, including pulmonary fibrosis and liver cirrhosis, with plans to advance towards IND approval. Early research also targets the immune system.
