Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TES7 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Raven biotechnologies using its proprietary cancer therapy platform. It specifically targets the B7-H3-4Ig antigen, a four-domain isoform of the B7-H3 (CD276) immunoregulatory protein. This antigen is characterized as an oncofetal antigen because it is expressed in various cancer stem cell lines and tumor tissues while showing minimal binding to normal human tissues. TES7 is being investigated for the treatment of several solid tumors, including prostate, colon, breast, lung, and pancreatic cancers. In preclinical studies, the antibody demonstrated significant anti-tumor activity, achieving 50-60% tumor size reduction in xenograft models. Additionally, TES7 has been shown to modulate the tumor microenvironment by significantly reducing the secretion of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) from cancer stem cells, thereby impacting angiogenic processes.
