Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Testagen is a transdermal testosterone replacement therapy developed by Transdermal Delivery Solutions Corp. It utilize a proprietary delivery system known as HypoSpray®, which is a metered-dose, quick-drying transdermal solution designed to deliver testosterone efficiently through the skin. This formulation is intended to treat male hypogonadism by providing stable serum androgen levels while specifically addressing the safety concern of inadvertent skin-to-skin transfer of testosterone to others (such as women and children), a common issue with traditional topical testosterone gels. The product is formulated as a 5% testosterone lotion or spray and has been evaluated in Phase II clinical trials to assess its pharmacokinetics and safety profile regarding accidental contact transfer.
