Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Testisvac is an investigational cell-based cancer vaccine and cell therapy developed by Innovita Research. It is designed to target cancer/testis antigens (CTAs), a class of tumor-associated antigens that are normally expressed in the human germline (such as the testis and placenta) but are frequently re-expressed in various types of cancer. Because CTAs are not typically found in healthy adult somatic tissues, they serve as ideal targets for immunotherapy to minimize off-target effects. Testisvac is currently in the preclinical stage of development for the treatment of cancers that express these specific antigens.
