Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The tetanus peptide melanoma vaccine is a cancer vaccine consisting of peptides derived from melanoma-associated antigens combined with a modified T-cell epitope derived from tetanus toxoid. It is designed to stimulate both helper T lymphocytes (HTL) and cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) to generate an immune response against melanoma. The vaccine is administered as a water-in-oil emulsion, typically with an adjuvant such as Montanide ISA-51 and GM-CSF to enhance immune response.
