Tetracycline + clotrimazole is a topical combination of two antimicrobial agents. This combination has been studied for its effects on mixed microbial infections, particularly in dermatological conditions such as palmar arsenical keratosis, where both bacterial (e.g., Enterobacter spp.) and fungal (e.g., Aspergillus spp.) pathogens may be present[1][2][3]. The combination has shown in vitro inhibition of both bacteria and fungi but did not demonstrate statistically significant clinical superiority over monotherapy or placebo in limited clinical studies[1]. There are no widely recognized brand names or commercial formulations for this specific combination; it is typically prepared as a compounded ointment.
