Overview

The tetravalent recombinant norovirus vaccine is designed to prevent norovirus infection by inducing an immune response against four specific norovirus genotypes: HuNoV GI.1, GII.3, GII.4, and GII.17. It contains recombinant VP1 proteins from each of these strains, expressed in *Pichia pastoris*. The vaccine is being developed by Anhui Zhifei Longcom Biologic Pharmacy Co., Ltd. and is currently undergoing Phase I/IIa clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity in various age groups, including infants, toddlers, adolescents, young adults, and the elderly.
