Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TFG-002 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived 3D hepatic microtissue cell therapy under preclinical development by TreeFrog Therapeutics for the treatment of liver diseases, including acute liver failure. The therapy is manufactured using TreeFrog's proprietary C-Stem™ platform, which is a closed, bioreactor-based capsule technology designed for scalable cell expansion and differentiation under GMP-compliant conditions. By delivering pre-organized 3D hepatic microtissues rather than single-cell suspensions, TFG-002 aims to improve cell survival, integration, and functional restoration in the damaged liver.
