Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TFX 1 is a preclinical-stage small molecule drug candidate being developed by Mestastop Solutions for the treatment of cancer metastasis, specifically in colorectal cancer and triple-negative breast cancer. TFX 1 targets TFX1, a first-in-class transcription factor target identified through Mestastop's proprietary METAssay™ platform. Overexpression of TFX1 in cancer cells has been shown to increase metastatic properties such as migration, invasion, autophagy, and platelet binding, while downregulation or pharmacological inhibition of TFX1 reverses these effects. The program is currently in the Hit-to-Lead / IND-enabling stage of development.
