Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**TG-0054 + granulocyte-colony stimulating factor** is a combination therapy evaluated for the mobilization of hematopoietic stem cells. TG-0054 is a small molecule antagonist of the C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4), which disrupts the retention of hematopoietic stem cells in the bone marrow, facilitating their release into peripheral blood. Granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) is a cytokine that stimulates the production, maturation, and mobilization of neutrophils and hematopoietic stem cells from the bone marrow into peripheral blood. Preclinical and early clinical studies suggest that combining TG-0054 with G-CSF synergistically enhances hematopoietic stem cell mobilization compared to either agent alone, potentially improving cell yield for transplantation in conditions such as multiple myeloma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and Hodgkin disease[1][2][3].
