Overview

TG-20 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting CD271 (also known as the low-affinity nerve growth factor receptor or p75NTR), currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (r/r AML). Developed by Tigen Pharma and originally licensed from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), TG-20 utilizes patient-derived T cells engineered to express a CAR specific for CD271, a marker found on AML blasts and leukemic stem cells. By targeting these cells, TG-20 aims to eliminate the core population responsible for disease recurrence and resistance. The therapy is part of Tigen Pharma's pipeline of cell-based immunotherapies designed to address high unmet needs in hematological malignancies.
