TG-HEX is a combination pharmaceutical product developed by Novogen Captab, containing terbutaline, ambroxol, guaifenesin, and menthol. It is typically indicated for the treatment of cough associated with respiratory conditions such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and emphysema. Terbutaline acts as a bronchodilator by stimulating beta-2 adrenergic receptors, leading to relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle.
