Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TG4070 is an individualized neoantigen cancer vaccine candidate developed using Transgene's proprietary myvac® platform. The platform utilizes a Modified Vaccinia Ankara (MVA) viral vector to encode and deliver a selection of patient-specific neoantigens, which are identified through advanced genomics and artificial intelligence. By presenting these unique tumor mutations to the immune system, TG4070 is designed to trigger a potent and specific T-cell response against the patient's tumor. As of early 2024, the program is in the preclinical 'in preparation' stage, following the proof-of-concept established by the platform's lead candidate, TG4050. The myvac® platform is designed to be highly scalable and capable of producing a personalized treatment in a short timeframe.
