TGI-5

TGI-5 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Hefei TG ImmunoPharma Co., Ltd. that targets CD155 (also known as Poliovirus Receptor, PVR). CD155 is an immune checkpoint ligand frequently overexpressed in various tumor tissues, where it interacts with inhibitory receptors such as TIGIT and CD96 on T cells and natural killer (NK) cells to facilitate immune evasion. By binding to CD155, TGI-5 blocks these inhibitory interactions, thereby potentially reversing tumor-mediated immunosuppression and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. TGI-5 is currently in Phase 1 clinical development for the treatment of advanced or metastatic solid tumors, including colorectal cancer, melanoma, hepatocellular carcinoma, and non-small cell lung cancer. The clinical program evaluates TGI-5 both as a monotherapy and in combination with the PD-1 inhibitor nivolumab to assess safety, tolerability, and preliminary anti-tumor activity.
